Forcing the Creation of a New Container Frame

If you click just below an existing OneNote content frame, it will be automatically extended by one or two lines. This tip shows you how to force a new frame instead.

This is very simple and works in Desktop-OneNote as well as in the Windows 10 OneNote app and OneNote for MacOS: Instead of a single click below the existing frame (“container”), simply double-click on the corresponding place. This forces the creation of a new frame.

This tip is taken from the book “OneNote Secrets” by Marjolein Hoekstra and me.

  2. Thanks! I knew there had to be a way to do this. But I could not figure it out.
